Masters Tour 2020 Jönköping

The Masters Tour Jonkoping is the third stop for the 2020 tour. The tournament features 300 players from around the world. Once again, competitors are fighting for a $250,000 prize pool and a chance to advance to the game's Premier tournament, Grandmasters League. Sweden has gained quite a number of hard-core Hearthstone players over the years, so it has definitely come to deserve its own spot on the Masters Tour. Jonkoping takes place from June 12th-14th.

The Prize Pool

  • Total $ 250,000 + crowdfunding. Prize amounts are listed without crowdfunding and after crowdfunding per placement.
  • 1st $22,000-$32,500
  • 2nd $15,000-$22,500
  • 3th-4th $10,000-$15,000
  • 5th-8th $7500-$11,000
  • Swiss 7 wins $2000-$3500
  • Swiss 6 wins $1500-$2250
  • Swiss 5 wins $650$1000

Masters Tour Jonkoping Format

Group Stage

  • 300 players will be placed on the Swiss chart, where nine rounds will be played.
  • In the Swiss chart, the players in the standings that are closest to each other play against each other. The winner rises up in the table and the loser falls down.
  • Matches are played as best of five matches.
  • Matches are played using Conquest rules.
  • The top eight players advance to the playoffs.
