#HomeSweetHome and its fifth week is about to start play in the last group of the week. Group D consists of Heroic and Winstrike who make their debut in the tournament, together with Nordavind and SKADE who at this point are #HomeSweetHome veterans. Beforehand the group looks like a strong one and the competition for a playoff spot will be fierce. In this article we will preview all four teams and make our final predictions on how it will all play out. Heroic is a newcomer to #HomeSweetHome and they are looking at a tough start as the group draw is a challenging one. Heroic is still a team who is used to compete with world class competition, even if the results are not something to brag about. In the past months the team has competed in Elisa Invitational and LOOT.BET Season 6 and wins against Nordavind, Team Secret and North shows that the team has a whole lot of skill to offer. As the team has only played together for a couple of months there is still a chance they will rise rapidly in the world rankings. Players to highlight in the team is for our money stavn, niko and TeSeS who all have had good performances lately. It’s hard to evaluate just how strong Heroic are right now, but it’s fair to assume the team should have great chances to make the playoffs at the very least. Nordavind are entering their fourth week of #HomeSweetHome and in all honesty it’s about that the team gets their game together and start producing some real results. This far they have proved themselves to be able to beat most team on their good days, but they are also few and far between. One playoff showing is simply not good enough. Apart from #HomeSweetHome Nordavind has been much of the same story, where they have quite a few strong wins, but mixed with some real deep dives. tenzki has acted as the saviour of the team quite a few times, but it’s time that the whole team steps up. With all that said it’s clear Nordavind will have a tough task ahead of them as the group draw is tough and the opening game against SKADE is the key for success. Nordavind simply can’t afford a loss there if they want to finally find success in #HomeSweetHome. SKADE are the real veterans in #HomeSweetHome, as they have participated in every week this far. However they haven’t reached the playoffs since the first week and honestly it doesn’t look any better now considering the group draw. The results in other tournaments tell the same story and even if dennyslaw and Rainwaker are two promising players who performs well most of the time, it’s more than likely SKADE will miss out on the playoffs on more time. Winstrike are about to make their debut in #HomeSweetHome. The team has performed quite well in the past few months and even if you can expect big things from players like bondik and Hobbit, it is no certainty. In ESL One: Road to Rio CIS Winstrike got wins against Hard Legion, Syman Gaming, Gambit Youngsters, Nemiga and Unique. That tells a story that makes them a favourite in #HomeSweetHome as that is just about the same caliber of teams they will now face. In addition to bondik and Hobbit being the main strength of the team, the youngster El1an has proved himself as a massive talent and someone who can carry Winstrike to new heights. Looking at the form of the team right now we have to place Winstrike as a playoff team, and possibly even more than that. The opening game against Heroic is a truly unfortunate draw for the team, but even in case of a loss it seems likely Winstrike will be able to sort it out.
