#HSH Week 8: Group D Preview
The last group of #HomeSweetHomes final week is upon us and as always we preview the teams. AGF Esport, Complexity Gaming, Hard Legion ...
The sixth week of #HomeSweetHome is underway and today it’s time for the last group to enter the server. We see one newcomer in AGF Esport and the Danes will have to take on a bunch of strong veterans in Hard Legion, Team Secret and Nordavind. The four will fight it out for the two spot to the playoffs and a chance at the total of $40,000 that gets awarded weekly. If you want to read more about #HomeSweetHome and the tournament as a whole head over to our event page! AGF has replaced Syman Gaming for this weeks #HomeSweetHome and it’s the first time the Danes participate. The team and players are fairly unknown, but in the last months they have some fairly impressive wins against teams such as Heretics and Espada. Overall however the results are lacking and their first venture in #HomeSweetHome will be a tough task. Hard Legion, Nordavind and Secret are all teams levels above AGF’s current level of play and the possibilities to reach a playoff spot are honestly close to 0. The best and most promising player in AGF is TMB and he has to have the tournament of his life to give his team a real shot here. We have seen big surprises earlier in #HomeSweetHome, but we are counting this one out and AGF will get hit by reality fast as they face Secret in the opening game. Hard Legion still remains one of our favourites to go far in #HomeSweetHome. Last week the team played on a good level, but ended up facing the coming winners Heroic already in the quarterfinals. The team has shown great form over the last month and it might just be time that they go all the way in #HomeSweetHome as well. Krad, Forester and rAge all had great performances last week, just like in Road to Rio and if they keep it up Hard Legion should get to the playoffs, even if this group is very tough. Their opening game against Nordavind will be crucial, as a loss there could get the team in to big trouble, but we do trust Hard Legion to be the stronger team and even if a best of one is what it is, they should be able to close it out. As long as Hard Legion keeps their nice momentum going we think they might go really deep in this weeks #HomeSweetHome, they might just end up in a final depending on who they have to face early on. The Norwegians in Nordavind are about to enter their fifth week of #HomeSweetHome and this far the results aren’t the worst, but probably not something the team can be satisfied with. Two playoff showings that both ended in the quarterfinal is what Nordavind has to show for and the truth is that it will be tough to improve that record this week. Nordavinds current form doesn’t look like enough to challenge Secret and Hard Legion, who both are on a roll. The positive for Nordavind is that H4RR3 and cromen both stepped up to another level during the previous week, but as a whole the team can’t get the package together, at least not enough to challenge the top teams of #HomeSweetHome. Sorry Norway, but it looks like another missed playoff is on the horizon for Nordavind. Secret has three previous showings in #HomeSweetHome and their second place in the fourth week is the clear highlight. The team has improved quickly during the year and even if they made a roster change two weeks ago the core of the team remains strong. Rallen played with Secret in previous weeks, but we have no confirmation that is the case this week. We have highlighted juanflatroo and anarkez as the players to watch in this team earlier and that still remains the case. If the team is to repeat the success of week four, those two players have to be on their absolute best. We expect Secret to at the very least reach the playoffs, but there things get tough and more than likely Secret won’t be able to trump their previous achievement.
