The story of Kanavi
Kanavi has made his name known tho whole world despite drama around Griffin and his contract.
The second week of the LCK is over and so far Kingzone DragonX remains undefeated while APK Prince and KT Rolster struggle to find a win. If you missed any of the games from last week make sure to check out our Week 1 Review and for more information regarding the LCK check out this page! 2-1 2-1 2-0 2-0 2-1 2-0 Hopes for Sandbox Gaming coming into week 2 were high with relatively even or worse opponents but those “worse” opponents wiped the floor with them and showed a lot of team strength all around. Wiped may be a strong word as game 1 was a game of margins but the final execution from Lehends on Yuumi and CuVee on Aatrox proved too much and Hanwha kept the momentum going through game 2. 2-1 2-1 2-0 There’s still a lot of League of Legends to be played for the Korean League and there is still a lot more to come from each of the teams in what feels to be a very competitive league still. APK finding game wins is a good sign for the squad all things considered and KT Rolsters unfortunate opening schedule could be the reason for their start to the split. Make sure to come back each week for updates regarding the LCK Spring Split! LCK Spring 2020 Week 2 Review
LCK Week 2 Matches
Griffin vs Sandbox
The teams traded the first two games and the third game seemed to be pretty even all the way through until GRF got Baron and ran away with the game. The Zac pick and Route on Aphelios really did a disservice to the SB squad and Ucal showed up in a big way along with Tarzan and his Gragas going above and beyond for his team. APK Prince vs Afreeca Freecs
Another 3 game series but this time APK came out to steal a game off of Afreeca. They have done this against both T1 and Afreeca at this point and if they can find the right grooves they might even pick up a win against some of these teams. Game 3 was a completely one-sided massacre for AF. DragonX vs Hanwha Life Esports
Unsurprisingly DragonX came out on top in this match and Hanwha leaves much to be desired from the squad here. A relatively clean 2-0 means there isn’t much to comment on but DragonX is posed to take and hold the number one spot while Hanwha might not have too many more wins in the future. Kt Rolster vs T1
This time around for KT, they didn’t bait their fans into having hope as T1 dismantled Kuro and the rest of the team. Some curious picks coming out of this series the new Akali nerfs showing up in the Top lane in game one and in game 2 some seriously questionable plays coming from KT Rolster. Griffin vs APK Prince
APK managed to steal yet another game away from the big dogs, their schedule thus far has been relatively difficult and yet they get one game away from a victory every time, maybe the rest of their schedule will have some wins. GRF on the other hand is showing up big after going 0-2 week one, getting some points for the standings. Damwon Gaming vs Gen. G
The current performances coming out of Damwon leave everyone questioning how their 2019 run was possible, struggling left and right against teams they could match step for step last year. Nuguri remains their star player while Gen. G and Clid continue to shine on stage. Hanwha Life Esports vs Sandbox Gaming
2-0 Afreeca Freecs vs DragonX
DragonX was able rally after AF took game 1 in the series and finished off games 2 and 3 with easy victories. The Ziggs pick for Chovy was really interesting in game 2 and into the Ornn proved to be enough to even the item advantage he gives. T1 vs Gen.G
Some were surprised to see the T1 squad stop Gen.G in their tracks but the new Coach Kim squad is proving to be more and more contenders for the playoffs. Sure it’s early on in the season but wins here mean more than losses thats for sure. Gen.G shouldn’t be counted out as the entire series was close Damwon Gaming vs KT Rolster
Poor KT, always the runner up never the first place team. This week was abysmal for the long standing organization and the idea that they may eventually contest with APK Prince for last place scares a lot of people. Damwon found their footing here with a swift 2-0 but still have question marks all around them for some of their decision making in the mid game. LCK Week 2 Standings
