The LEC summer season is approaching half the brothers, as by the end of the fourth week all the teams have met each other once. The first three weeks of running are perhaps the most exciting season in LEC’s historical mass, as none of the biggest favorites can be found at the top. Sure, the MAD Lions, which experienced only one loss, was one of the big contender candidates in advance, but no one believed one and the same in seven matches, G2 has suffered three and Fnatic four losses. Only six teams advance to the playoffs and in this hot spot Fnatic is out of this six and both Origen et G2 Esports are only one win above the playoffs. This knows really interesting weeks for the second half of the series and this week we are looking for starting points for the final battles. When you look at the match from the point of view of the casual spectator, you may wonder why anyone would recommend SK’s victory over Fnatic and honestly myself I avoid recommending such odds over three, but this is a truly exceptional case. When we talk about 50-50 targets, it usually means that the teams are very even and either can win. In this match, I use 50-50 terms in a slightly different way. In my eyes, this match will decide whether Fnatic has found a solution to the problems that have arisen in the last two weeks in terms of draft, communication and individual errors. Fnatic has been downright bad in recent weeks and if it plays the same way it has in recent weeks, it will get a cold ride from SK Gaming, which is in a strong mood. But on the other hand, if Fnatic returns in the same mood as during the opening week of the season or at the end of the spring season, then SK Gaming's chances of winning are very small. In my experience, there is quite a 50-50 chance in terms of which Fnatic we will see this week. And when there is more than a triple of money on offer then this is an item worth investing with little risk. The English main broadcast can be followed on the lolesports website or on the twitch. Matches are played on Friday and Saturday mornings. In the spring season, I would have anticipated this match with one sentence: “This match doesn’t matter at all”. Now, however, things are very different, as the very even average of the series has kept these two slightly underperforming teams still a stroke away from the playoffs. Vitality is one and Excel two wins away in sixth place and thus the winner of this match will keep himself in a good position in the battle for the playoffs, but the loser will lose his positions sadly. So this tail-head battle is very meaningful. In my own estimates, I elevated this duo to be the biggest challengers from the last playoff spot and now that SK Gaming has played much better than expected, the position of these challengers is becoming increasingly challenging. Vitality has been ahead of Excel in all my advances and it has also looked the same on the playing field. Now, however, let’s see for the first time how this encounter really goes. Vitality leaves as a favorite, but both have had problems in their game and the victory is taken by the team that has got more bugs fixed. Schalke's roster roulette continues as the team has played eight different players in the LEC this season. Last week Gilius played his first match of the season and I’m looking forward to what the team will come up with this week. I said earlier that the team needs a change and the 0-7 statistic is starting to look like the change may have to be applied for outside your own Academy. The MAD Lions have been in top shape and will not make “G2s” against Schalke, but will routinely take the win and get to move quickly towards the match of the week. As I pointed out at the beginning of the article, the outcome of this match depends on whether we see Week 1 Fnatic or Week 2 Fnatic. SK Gaming has been in a good mood and has played a moderately flawless game, so Week 2 Fnatic is in no way able to respond to SK. However, Week 1 Fnatic is the team we raised to G2 as the biggest challenger before the start of the season. This is a rare situation, as it is almost impossible to anticipate when it is not known at all whether Fnatic has fixed its problem. Last season saw a similar 2-3 week period from Fnatic and it returned to play in the final, however. A very interesting match. Rogue is 5-2 and Origen 4-3 in stats after three weeks and although Origen’s individual skills are at a respectable level, Rogue’s collusion has worked great. Of course Rogue has also had an easier match schedule and now it faces real challenges. The spring season is still raging in the back of the head when Rogue collapsed completely from the end of the season, but at the same time Rogue has played really well this season. If the previous one was a 50-50 match in a slightly exceptional sense, then this is very close to it in its traditional sense. If you have to pick a winner, then I still have to side with Origen here, despite its weak start to the season. The first thing to say is that G2 will be playing as a substitute this week. It is still uncertain whether the substitute will take on the role of ADC or Mid, as while Perkz is on holiday, Caps will be able to take on either role. Perkz’s father died less than a month ago and Perkz now travels to his mother and brother to deal with the loss and get rid of the extra stress. G2 Esports has named b1 lane player P1noy as a substitute, but it has not confirmed the line-up for the coming weekend and so there are still question marks around the issue. Due to a lack of lineup, there are no odds for this match yet or the odds have been set very carefully. If you get a good odds on one of our recommended sites once the item is on the market, you should seriously consider it. The G2 game is based on strong individual skills and is at times really knife-tipped art. The change to this synergy may affect G2 more than many other teams, and Misfits Gaming has been in a really strong mood at times. Here, I see an opportunity for Misfits to take advantage of the awkward situation of the G2. Meeting the positive surprise of the two seasons. Both have been really strong, but Rogue has been a degree stronger. SK’s victory isn’t an impossibility, but Rogue leaves the match with his favorite cloak on his shoulders. If Rogue wins this encounter, it is very likely that it will no longer have to beat the tail teams in the series to reach the playoffs. I would very much like to believe in Vitality’s victory, as it desperately needs wins to stay in the playoffs. However, all of Vitality’s strengths are also Origen’s strengths and Origen is stronger in these. Origen hasn’t been quite in line with the game, but unfortunately the same situation is with Vitality. Origen’s clear favorite and Vitality may well, with a loss, be left with an almost impossible contract for the second half. In Friday’s match, I said Fnatic needs the first week’s tune to win. Well… this match will probably be enough for a week 2 Fnatic win. Schalke has been absolutely miserable and although we have used harsh language about Immortals in our LCS articles, I am not at all sure if I would challenge Schalke Immortals in its current state. Perhaps the easiest advance of the week, Fnatic wins. Excel has, in fact, looked better than what reality is, mainly because, alongside Schalke, Excel is successful. The truth, however, is that Excel is probably already completely out of the playoffs by the middle of the season. G2 Esports plays for the substitute, but nonetheless it should beat Excel easily. In that sense, the Perkz holiday came to the right place. Really interesting match! Misfits Gaming has looked great over the summer, but at the same time MAD Lions has looked great! In particular, this match is the battle of the jungler that has emerged during the two years. Misfitsin Razork and MAD Lions ’Shad0w are the elite of the junglers at the moment and when the teams start from a fairly flat starting point it may well be that the junglers will decide the course of the match. Top Lanella MAD’s Lions Orome has performed significantly better excerpts than Dan Dan and at the other end of the map bot Lanella Carzzy has taken a place among the superstars and that place used to belong to Misfits Kobelle. The encounter with Mid Lane is really interesting because there are opposites opposite. Febiven is a steady performer and usually plays champions who scale as the game progresses, while Humanoid is at the top of the series in both kills and deaths. Humanoid plays aggressively, but staying behind can be a devastation for his team. Thus, an advantage should be given to MAD Lions, but the Humanoid danger should be borne in mind. A flat match, but the MAD Lions a little stronger in advance.
